Editors at The Canopy Studio will provide post-shoot support on all Moving Image projects going through the studio. You’ll be working on quick turn around projects of varying scale and demand, manipulating footage into polished edits for both clients and The Canopy Studio. You will work closely with our Producers and Motion Designers to bring sound and visuals together seamlessly to tell brand stories. This role requires high levels of collaboration, attention to detail and passion for delivering striking and creative brand visuals. We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • Careful, meticulous and detail oriented
  • Imaginative with great commercially focused storytelling skills
  • A familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
  • Un-phased by the fast paced, quick turnaround of projects post-shoot
  • A collaborative and supportive attitude
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a video Editor role for a production company or creative agency

Responsibility and skills:

  • Manipulate raw footage, input music, dialogue, graphics and effects into polished, clear, engaging and creative rough cut edits for client review and final cuts deliverables

Motion Designer

Fully embracing our ‘Design Together’ ethos, Motion Designers will provide vital support for one of our most important client relationships. You will become a trusted guardian for our client’s brand, and get to know their design requirements inside-out. You’ll work alongside designers and artworkers internally and with product and marketing managers externally, to deliver distinctive, effective and on-brand motion design. This role requires high levels of problem solving, talent and passion for delivering on-brand visuals, communication and collaboration. We’re looking for someone with the following;

  • A great reel of exciting motion graphics, demonstrating a keen eye for composition, timing and detail and
    the ability to work in a wide range of aesthetic styles
  • Experience in working across different brands and categories, ideally with experience working extensively on
    a high-profile client account/span>
  • An ability to demonstrate a clear link between your conceptual thinking and visual output
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project / Account Management for an in-house brand team or an agency

Responsibility and skills:

  • Support the client to conceptualise, design and execute dynamic motion graphics, cinematics and animated assets with commercial awareness
  • Develop designs from style frames, storyboards and treatments through to final polished animations
  • An original thinker, able to communicate your ideas both internally and externally
  • Able to take direction from all angles without losing sight of the original brief and goals
  • Expert knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro and Adobe Suite

The Producer at The Canopy Studio will provide on-shoot and in-studio support on all Production projects. You’ll be working on quick turn around projects of varying scale and demand, covering all aspects of the production process from pre to post production and everything in between. You’ll be challenged to think on your feet, get fully immersed in each project and have a passion for delivering standout creative. We’re looking for someone with the following;

  • Excels at building rapport and relationships
  • Unphased by the fast paced, often ever changing nature of the projects you’ll be working on
  • Positive, can-do outlook and remain level headed under pressure, encouraging the team around you to deliver the best possible creative solution before, during and after shoots
  • Effectively maintain a clear and comprehensive record of all stages of every production project
  • Expert at prioritising and juggling multiple tasks
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project / Account Management for an in-house brand team or an agency

Responsibility and skills:

  • Support the Senior Project Manager to organise and manage the smooth running of both photography and video shoots by meticulously coordinating crew, talent, suppliers, subsistence, external freelancers and clients on the shoot day itself as well as pre and post-production
  • Ensure high levels of service and creativity is delivered at all times, both on the shoot day itself as well as pre and post-production, liaising with clients to manage expectations, determine project requirements and deliverables within pre-agreed time frames and budgets, creating storyboards, concept treatments and shot lists as needed
  • Support both the Production Manager and the Senior Project Manager in creating project cost breakdowns so all projects can be quoted both timely and accurately 
  • Manage the safe delivery of all post-shoot media and back up of data, using appropriate post-production tools to organise, manage and version projects 
  • Embody The Canopy’s ‘Design Together’ ethos with both clients, freelancers and suppliers

    • Versioning [Master Edit Locked] – Cut-downs, Translations, Market Versions, etc
